I got some .357 cases which are machined out to drop in shotshell primers, so you can fire wax bullets.
I am trying to use these in my lever action rifle, I'm loading the cartridges in one at time directly into the chamber (not into magazine). The primers drop in ,but they can also easily drop right back out. I was wondering if there is some compound that might be used to make the primer rim a little bit sticky or tacky so they stay in the cartridge while I'm feeding them into the chamber. but wouldn't make it hard to get them back out again after they've been fired, and wouldn't interfere or gum up the works.
Any suggestions?
