I am in the market for a new pistol. I went to a local dealer and showed me this .22 mag pistol. It handled and felt nice, but I don't know anything about this gun.Does anyone have any experience with it or know anything about the company.

I can't see any reason to but a magnum .22. The main advantage of the 22 rimfire is cheap ammo, a la 22 LR. I would spend my money on a quality 22 LR pistol.

.22 magnum ammo is expensive and non-reloadable. It's a good survival round and more accurate in convertable revolvers than .22LR but I think it's too expensive to plink with.

I was looking at .22lr pistols at the time I came across this gun.I probably will go back to the .22lr.Any good choices,I was looking at the Browning Mark 3's.

I have a S&W model 41 and it's a great shooter but they're expensive now. My son has a Walther P22 that works fine but it's alittle small. He also has a 22A thats a good shooter and it;s easy to mound a scope or red dot sight on if you want to. My advice is to try as many as youy can before you decide. You might like a Ruger,Browning or High Standard better.

Actually if I go with the .22lr,it will probably be a Browning or Hi standard. I've heard too many stories about the ruger being very tricky to put back together after cleaning.

I would not rule out the Ruger for the cleaning pain. The ruger MKIIIs can go a long time between needing to be taken apart for a full cleaning. And there are several handy videos on Youtube that walk you through the dis/assembly process. I love my MK3

JonJ,thanks for the link to rimfire central, alot of info their.I think Iwill go with the .22lr pistol then down the road pick up the .22mag rifle.
