Picked up a Walther WMP a little while back and tried shooting it suppressed only to be sprayed in the face on every shot. The back end of the pistol is open and barrel is fixed so there is a straight path right to your face. Unsuppressed this isn't an issue but as soon as you add the can, it becomes unshootable (unless you're in to pew-kkake).

To solve this issue I 3D scanned the slide and designed a 3D printed a solution. This part press fits from the top onto the pistol slide and blocks the blow back from reaching the face. The STL is attached if you want to print one. I did 0.28mm line thickness with 4 walls and 15% infill. Print with the back face on the build plate and only add supports to the bridge feature.

Holy smokes. Nice job.

Version 2.0 I'd suggest a lot less wall thickness and maybe some black plastic. ;-)

There is plenty of room for improvements. The initial prototypes would pop off after a few mags so I beefed up the walls so there wasn't as much flex. Its good enough for now as I have plenty of other projects to tackle.

Haha what, you don't like zombie apocalypse green!? I have a black one on now, just wanted to show the part vs the slide. Very little contrast with black part and black slide.

Great job. Any desire to print me one? I no longer have a 3D printer. WMP is a fun shooter and quite accurate.

For sure, DM me your address.

OP was kind enough to make one of these for me and it absolutely rocks. Eliminates nearly all blow back and makes suppressed use a joy. The WMP is super fun to shoot both suppressed and unsuppressed. Props to OP!
