Picked up a Walther WMP a little while back and tried shooting it suppressed only to be sprayed in the face on every shot. The back end of the pistol is open and barrel is fixed so there is a straight path right to your face. Unsuppressed this isn't an issue but as soon as you add the can, it becomes unshootable (unless you're in to pew-kkake).
To solve this issue I 3D scanned the slide and designed a 3D printed a solution. This part press fits from the top onto the pistol slide and blocks the blow back from reaching the face. The STL is attached if you want to print one. I did 0.28mm line thickness with 4 walls and 15% infill. Print with the back face on the build plate and only add supports to the bridge feature.
