This started out as an unfired NIB Colt 1911A1 Series 70 new production. The barrel was refit with an EGW thick flange carry bevel bushing and a long nose plug. The beavertail is Ed Brown as well as the thumb safety. The trigger is Grieder and the new MSH is Ed Brown. The front strap was high cut and serrated by "Metalsmith" The mag well was also opened up. The hammer and sear are also EGW. The slide was milled for a set of fiber optic sights, EGW up front and a Novak in the rear. Trigger is a crisp 4# all the springs are Wolff. The feedramp was cut at the proper and and depth. The finish is a brushed hard chrome. Grips are made my John Hoskins from burl walnut. I'm sure I missed a few things too.

Oh yes, the mags are also hard chromed and the barrel got a flush cut and bevel.

I like how the grip screw slots are all oriented vertically. That's nice attention to detail.
