I grew up in the wrong place and time to learn to hunt, NJ in the 80's. This family though, they're doing it right. Three generations (so far) taking their first deer with the same rifle...

Oh those damn meat eaters how do they dare! Get some sushi instead.

It is not the weapon, it is the process, the hunt, then skinning the kill, then at camp you cook it and whole party celebrating. Something that feels primal. Good memories, and better not to think of any parasites in the meat.
