I have a .32 automatic Beretta that I can only load four round in the clip. Any more rounds will jam and not load. I have tryed everything nand nothing works. This is a model 70 Beretta and I can also not find a clip to buy for this weapon. Any help? [thinking]

My experience with Beretta blow back pistols (I have one) is:

They can be finicky when it comes to ammo. Mine prefers higher velocity. Have you tried different brands?
With all blow backs the chamber & bolt must be kept clean & lubricated especially your tight tolerance Beretta.
Also most, if not all "magazines" are uniform & function well for the most part. Do you have more than one?

"We are being jammed"
"What kind of a jam is it? Strawberry sir!"
"There is only one man that dares to give me Strawberry Jame. Lonestar..."

Firearms have malfunctions not jams.

You might want to check with your old Marine Corps gunney, and whe he says you piece is jamed thats what he means.

Okay we have established the fact that I do not have a clip but a magazine, Is your magazine for a Mod. 72 .32 cal. automatic Beretta? List price and address.

Jammed how exactly? I mean I get that you are saying the slide is back. Double feed? Slide back but not enough to grab the next or or grabbed the next round but not enough force to chamber it?

If you need to try a different part that holds the bullets, try searching for "magazine". That firearm does not use a "clip", it uses a "magazine".

This guy has one listed for sale:

Really? Can we endeavor to move past this tired bullshit? It's as bad as the grammar nazis...No one gives a crap and EVERYONE knows what he meant. If my uncle were still alive, who fought across Europe with a Thompson in WWII and trained people to go into combat in Korea and also called the bullet holder thingys 'clips' - (even killed someone with one) - he'd take your magazine and shove it up your rectum if you challenged him on it...

I am with you MassMark, how much time is wasted correcting peoples grammar and wording.

Anyway to the OP: I agree with trying different ammunition (if you can find any). I have a couple pistols in 32 and 380 that require high velocity ammunition to operate properly. Additionally the shape of the bullet can make a big difference. If you can find and Winchester Silvertip give that a try, I have had good luck with it in my smaller caliber guns.

It's probably the ammo like mentioned earlier or something else already mentioned. One thing not really mentioned is it could be your mag followers -- are they flimsy or bend oddly when you put ammo in the mag?

What's a clip?

A stripper clip you mean?

You use your mosin stripper clips and 7.62X54R in your beretta?

See there's the problem right there. It uses .32 not 7.62X54R. I used to use my mosin clips in my sword. It never worked. I tried it in my car, damn stripper clips didn't work in my car. Tried my mace....now....they worked in my mace.

Did I mention that I know what marcellus wallace looks like?

Are you saying that the rounds jam in the mag before you insert it into the gun? If that's the case the body of the mag might have a dent or there's some rust or other crud inside that's binding the follower. Or maybe the mag spring is broken or rusty.

Or are you saying that the gun jams when feeding the 4th round?

Pay attention to the quote in your sig....

S*it I went full retard again didn't I..... ::maces myself, asks myself what does marcellus wallace look like, maces myself again::

guys you need to make me count to 10 before I get to this level....put your game faces on.

It is a Magazine not a clip.

It is a lot easier for me to understand someone's post when they use some semblance of proper spelling, grammar, and terminology.

To the original poster, what do you mean when you say: "I have a .32 automatic Beretta that I can only load four round in the clip. Any more rounds will jam and not load." Are you saying that you can not fit more than four rounds in the magazine? If so, then clearly the problem is the magazine. Or are you saying that when you load more than four rounds in the magazine and then fire the gun, that you get failures to feed? If it is the latter, then the problem could be the gun, but it is still possible (and perhaps likely) to be a problem with the magazine.

As others have suggested, try different brands of ammunition. If that doesn't solve the problem, then purchase a new magazine. A previous post has already provided you with a link to an online retailer that has a magazine for a Beretta model 70: http://www.sarcoinc.com/mags.html

My post was intended to help the OP, not correct him as a "dis".... I figured if he was saying "clip", then he was probably searching online for a "beretta clip"; (with probably no results) which I why I wrote what I did about trying a seach for "magazine", and even provided him with a place online that has one for sale!

It is unfortunate that MassMark had to derail the thread when he called my post out because he believed I was taking a dig at the guy. My entire post was to HELP the OP, but some people here are so quick to jump at you if they don't like what you wrote. Grow up. [thinking]

Well, we don't really care what the ol gunny used to call it.

Since we can't see your pistol having a problem, something more descriptive than a "jam" is necessary.

Does the pistol fail to feed a round into the chamber?

Does the pistol fail to fire a chambered round?

Does the pistol fail to extract a fired round?

Does the pistol fail to eject a fired round out.
