Can people please stop calling it a platform. please. that is the most annoying trend. its not a platform, its a rifle or a pistol. That's all. calling it a platform does not make you sound more tactical or more operator.

Anything you can build on is a platform. Symantecs doesn't bother me any, call it a popsicle if you want, as long as it goes bang I'm good.

I like the way JP describes it: "Semi automatic gas operated shoulder mounted weapons platform"

My pet peeve is " weapon".

Do you think this is a good weapon? What is your opinion of this weapon?

It's only a weapon if you use it as such. Otherwise it is a rifle, pistol, shotgun, revolver or my personal favorite, firearm.

^This one pisses me off as well, right up there with "killing machines". Save for my WWII era stuff (of which I had no control over their prior use), none of my firearms have ever, or will ever be used to harm anyone or thing if I can help it. As far as I am concerned, they are simply really cool machines designed to fire a projectile as reliably and accurately as their design allows. Intent is that of the user and nothing more.

~30 yrs. ago when I took an NRA course as a kid they beat that to death. Someone in the class said "weapon" and the next 20 min was spent listening to a tirade about it. lol It has bugged me ever since.

How else are you going to dynamically operate in situations, bro? Every operator needs a modular weapons platform to provide the tactical advantage necessary to secure mission critical objectives. Failure is not an option.

99% of the time all of that just means "flashlight and sling on my gun" [laugh2]

My pet peeve is "tactical". Oh, your home defense shotgun is "tactical"? Please, tell me more about how hard you operate in the dark and how a black stock is less visible to intruders than a wooden one. Also because the SEALs use it.

Strategically, the goal is to shoot someone invading your home, tactically, you would use your shotgun (or firearm of choice). Everything else is fluff!

How are you going to know who the operational operators are with out them describing their operational platforms?

You ever notice he never gets invited to othe you tube shooting event ?

Probably because the other channels want to shoot stuff more than talk about it? [rofl]

The problem with NutNFancy is the guy has good ideas for videos etc but he takes something that should be 10 minutes tops and turns it into 40 minutes of crap with like 5 minutes of actual content. Usually if you move the slide bar through the video you can find the content. [rofl]

Saw one review between a few ar's .
He was reading every little spec . Metal type . Heat treating spec ect.
I shut it off after 3 mins .
Just leave a link for that info for crying out loud.

What about this modern sporting rifle crap? [rofl] Yeah, because everyone buys them for "sporting purposes.... " we all know that's a bunch of crap.

I personally like nutn's style of video. Sometimes it is nice to hear a person's experience with all the features a gun touts. He can go over the features with a fine tooth comb and give the pros and cons because we know the marketing for any feature on a spec sheet is only benefits.

Nice to hear and see the little things about a gun, more information before taking a plunge yourself is always a good thing imo.
