Example fourseasons just had a deal a weak of so ago.
M&P sport AR and 420 rnds of federal m855 for 700$ out the door! Might have been 750 $ but I thought that wad a good deal. Think it came with a cleaning kit also.....

Tax free weekend special at FS, $587.95 cash. They throw in a backpack with the first 50.

Just keep in mind that a birdcage flash hider is not ma legal.
Yes, I know. I'm getting the MB I have pinned and welded. After that it should be 16".

Don't waste your breath, OP is clueless. He asks for help too late after He has already bought a bunch of non-compliant and inferior parts and is now trying to rationalize his purchases. I don't think we can help him at this point.

What are you talking bout?
Actually, tough guy I do have a clue. I did a lot of research and I am good to go..I asked for opinions. Not for your snarky attitude, or your "double tap" comments[tinfoil]. You need to work on your reading comprehension pal.. Everyone else has been respectful except you..You're just being Jerk in all your post, making assumptions, and judging. You jacked my thread BIG TIME..So why don't you "SAVE YOUR BREATH" on this one. I'm not gonna get into a pissing contest with you.

I bought this lower years ago when they just came out and it's just been sitting in my safe.

Make sure you get the Mod 1 Comp if you are pinning and welding it to a 14.5" barrel if you want 16" overall length:

Got that covered [thumbsup]

That is an excellent deal. Just curious what model was it? I have shot M&P's they are nice. No dust cover or fwd assist. I was keen on windham until I decided to finish this build.

Its the sport. NorEast did you actually get to order the colt upper parts kit? Sorry if I missed your post on what upper you where actually buying/building.

How you can do a lot of research on that combination of stuff and still end up buying it? People posting success stories with those receivers appear to be very few and far in between. You claim to have no cash, but then order a bunch of stuff that you will need to spend more money on to make it legal. New muzzle device plus the cost pinning and welding, Pinning the stock and removing the bayo lug. Yeah, you researched the hell out of that.

I'm not sure what inference you took from the double tap post, but whatever it was is incorrect. Double tap is a term frequently used in gun forums when a reply posts twice. Evidently you are the only one in this thread that does not know that.

I’m not familiar with pricing on a lot of AR parts, but it seems to me the custom ARs on sale in the classifieds seem to have lost a lot of value. Maybe it’s like selling a modified car (much better to part out than sell as one unit).

Add thick skin to the list of items, you'll need it in here. not a dig toward you, just no point in getting upset at the comments.

Nah people where selling them for way more then they where worth during the panic . My piston carbine I got like 600$ into it but I probably could sell it for 1000$ and it wouldn't be a rip off . I got every thing with discounts . My piston kit was miss labeled 150$ . They range it up and it said 350$ . The store horned the 150$ price. Some customer crossed the real price out and wrote 150$ lol ... It wasn't me.

Some people tried to sell 600$ s&w that hand a different hand guard tossed on for 1200! And people bought then .

Sometimes we just need to learn the hardway what's cheap, what's good, and what's a deal...

Yup. We all have bins of parts, optics, etc... that we bought, thinking they would be 'good enough' and then replaced shortly after when we realized that all of the guys who said they weren't good enough were right.

Dibs on everyone's bin! Really. PM me if you have anything to donate to a "frankenbuild".
