I presume many of us who read this part of the forum will know who Glen Tate and Shelby Gallagher are, but if not, the Cliff Notes version is they are both fiction authors and they each have a series of books which have been reasonably accurate to what we're seeing unfold and how. Anyway, they have a podcast and have had this guy they call "Dan the Food Industry CEO" on 3 times since March. In short, buy canned goods and buy proteins now--like right friggin' now. The supply chain is in a really bad state and raw materials (...which we get from? Yup--China) are in short supply and some required packaging is literally non-existent--as in none are being made and none exist in any warehouses.
