This started as a tired Colt Officers with factory nickle plating. The plating given a chemical peel to get to the copper sub layer, alox blasting took the rest. The sights are an XS small dot front, 10-8 U notch rear. The BT is a Caspian with the long spine to ensure quick activation. The hammer was jazzed by adding chamfers to both sides. I replaces the recoil spring cap with the much stronger Clark unit. The trigger is a Nighhawk. The barrel was flush cut and deep crowned. All the bits were then Parkerized and finished of with graphite black Cerakote. The grips are VZ double diamonds. The gun shoots great and feels good in the hand.

Nice work. Did removal of the plating loosen up the slide to frame fit or alter the barrel fit and, if so, how did you correct it?
