DON’T LET GINA TAKE YOUR GUN RIGHTS
Are you OK with paying a 17% sales tax on firearms and ammunition? How about having to turn in all your magazines holding more than 10 rounds? Or registering your semiautomatic rifles and shotguns to the tune of $25 per firearm? These are just a few of the gun control bills being introduced in the Rhode Island legislature this year, with the strong backing of Gov. Raimondo.
Fighting to protect our Second Amendment rights against these bills takes money. Gun control groups spent about $200,000 last year attacking the lawful private ownership of firearms in our state. While not nearly matching that amount, the Rhode Island Second Amendment PAC (RISAPAC) raised a great deal more than in prior years and used it effectively to support pro-firearms legislative candidates right here in Rhode Island.
RISAPAC’s first fundraiser of 2019 is Monday, Feb. 25 at the Varnum Memorial Armory in East Greenwich. Speakers from state pro-gun groups, legislators and the firearms industry will bring you up to speed one what’s happening at the Statehouse this year. Additionally, there will be complimentary light food, beer, a tour of the historic armory and its extensive firearms collection. Everyone who works with RISAPAC is a volunteer so every penny raised is spent in Rhode Island to protect your firearms rights.
Suggested donation is $35 per person. State law requires payment by check or credit card only. If you cannot attend but would like to donate, you can do so easily by clicking here.
Please consider attending or contributing electronically. If every Rhode Island firearms owner donated just a small amount, we would have more than enough to match the gun controllers.
