Fusion Firearms

Just learned about Fusion 1911. I must say, I like what I see so far and the cost in at least in the ballpark for an average Joe.

My Handle is GlockGen4 and I will always run Glocks, (everyone knows they are best) but I also enjoy 1911's.

I run a Kimber Pro CDP II, and it is alright but I always wanted a "Custom" pistol. So who runs Fusions and how do you like them? I am pretty settled on the platform, I just have to pick my "bells and whistles" and have em build it.

This gun will be used at the range, carried very little.

I believe the man behind Fusion used to work for Dan Wesson. I can't comment on their pistols, but I used a Fusion six inch slide to build a Para .40 long slide. I was impressed with the quality of the part.

I had a Fusion Commander built from Fusion parts. Ended up selling it due to lack of reliability-probably not Fusion fault. Looked very pretty though. But if I were to start a build, I would use a Caspian frame and go from there.

Fusion uses Korean frames and slides from Point Tech, Caspian has a much better handle on quality IMHO, but I'm still learning.

Fusion singel stack are machined by remsport .
Double stack are sti kits.
U can get it cheaper and a better frame slide barrel fit from remsport. Just my .2¢
