Hey Guys, How's it going? I got a glock 23 not sure how many rounds have been through it. But it's shooting down really bad. I called glock I need to find a dealer in the Springfield area to send it back to them. Has anyone ever had a lot of barrel play with theirs or this kind of problem?

Thanks,
Big_D

Have you fired it off a rest to confirm that its actually shooting low and it's not just you giving it the .40 flinch?

To test, get a rest, some 165 gr ammo and shoot it at 25 feet and see what happens. With the front sight in the notch the holes should be on the tip of the dot or right on it.

Most perceived accuracy problems with handguns are shooter induced and not an issue with the pistol itself.

My grandfather is the one who told me it's shooting low. Cause I couldn't hit the target for my life and I asked him to shoot it. Went with him on Monday. Was shooting the Winchester 185 grain rounds. I was shooting his hot homemade rounds in .357 S&W and doing much better with that.

Before calling glock have someone shoot it from a rest. It would be unusual for it to just shoot low with no other problems. Low left is a typical glock new shooter issue if they are a righty.

True, and new Glocks are known to shoot high left during the first few boxes of ammo. Mine has since been getting more and more accurate.

I'm hoping this is tongue in cheek. Your Glock hasn't changed where it was shooting. You have just learned to stop jerking the Glock the trigger.

Big_D, I can almost guarantee that their is nothing wrong with your Glock. The Glock trigger takes some work to master and newer shooters almost always shoot Glocks low and left (for right-handed shooters -- left-handers shoot low and right).

Shoot that Glock very carefully from a rest, and I'll bet that you find it is on target.

I've owned a half dozen brand new in box Glocks and I have never seen this happen. Ever. You're probably getting better at shooting the gun, more than anything else. [laugh]
