Glock 23

i ended up trading my frontline iwb for a galco iwb, way thinner and holds the gun lower on my beltline. thanks for the advice guys, i dont feel so plaxico anymore lol

Is everyone still happy with their G23s? I'm seriously thinking of getting one soon. The G27 is too small for my larger hands and I already have the SR9c. The G23 looks like a good intro to the .40. Is it good with recoil? Any info would be helpful. thanks

I carried a G23 for years, and finally smartened up and switched to a G19. This is just my opinion, but I moved away from the .40 platform. Too snappy IMHO, I switch between a 9mm and a .45, no need for a "in-between" caliber.

i bought mine in 1994. still have it thousands of rounds through it, mostly my reloads. carries nice inside waistband. dont think i would ever sell or trade it.

Wanted some opinions from folks...thinking about picking up a Glock 23 this week for Conceal Carry. What do you guys think...Glock 27 I felt was a bit small because i'd also like to take this to the range and have some fun with it. Any experiances with carrying the Glock 23. Is it best for inside or outside the waste band? Suggestions on holsters?

Thanks

I carry a G26 IWB holster by Elite Survival. Best holster I've ever used. Comfortable, easy draw, interchangeable clip. $20 on eBay. And why is the 26 too small? Pretty soon you're not gonna be able to carry ANYTHING over 10 rounds anywhere in the country, the way politicians are ignoring the 2nd amendment, so what's the point? My G26 , 10 rounds hollow point law enforcement grade. Small, comfortable, and you'll get used to the "feel, even without the pinky extension. Believe me, I did. I hated it at first, but now I LOVE it....Also, I own a G22 as well, and never carry it. It's a cannon, huge, and in Mass if you carry over 10 rounds, you're gonna spend thousands $$ more in legal defense if you have to use it and you're carrying with a pre-ban clip more than 10 rounds (mine holds 15 and one in the chamber), but it never travels with me. It feels like a gallon of milk tied to my side...It stays home.... It's for the two "poor, disadvantaged young illegal alien men who are just getting their lives back together" who break into my home tonite seeking drugs or the simple, necessary rape of my wife or daughter, to tide them over while waiting for Governor Patrick to send them a voucher for a free taxi ride to the methadone clinics...) [grin]

im with Andy, i have shot both the 19 and 23, and by far the 23 the snap and recoil vibrate through the polymer frame alot more and is slower for follow up shots.

i love the 19, so much as im going to buy a third 19 next week. my 2 19's were getting lonely after its bigger cousin my 17 was given to a good home.
