Good 1911 site?

Hey guys.
I'm gonna start building a 1911 soon, I know there's alot of info here but I wanted a site that more geared to 1911's. The site that pointed me to you guys just banned me I wont say what.

I was wondering if you could post some good 1911 sites.That have good guys with advice building a para 1911... I'm not really finding any thing beside random stuff for para.

I just got banned cause I posted a photo of a joke anti drug ad, with et standing behind a actor that says being raped by et isn't normal but on meth it is...it was after some one posted a pic of the daughter from American guns...so pissed I got banned for that when there was way worse things said or posted..

I think that is an oxy-moron. Never heard of someone "building a Para 1911". Para's are like Taurus's, cheap POS's.

It's really not that bad of a pic......
You used to be able to buy just the frame for a non ramped barrel .
The older ones where better then the ones they where making once they moved to the factory down south.
There getting better again, I forget the guys name he's sponsored by them Travis is his first name. If u have any problems with a new para and you told him he got it fixed ASAP.
I was gonna use a remsport slide etc...

any thing really, reviews on the after market para only parts etc be able to ask question about them..

Plus I'm a 1911 fan allready own a Remington r1.
