gov imposed electronic monetary system

Yes, good read. In a sense, you are charged for your savings. If interest earned is less than inflation, every day your money in the bank becomes less valuable. Funny thing is, my ammo and guns keep appreciating.

I've been pondering " money vs currency " lately.

I believe no paper money , or tin coin outlives it government , or has its own value but what a .gov tells me it is.

But a gold or silver coin , whether a brand new American Eagle or a 2000 year old roman coin , or 5000 year old Egyption coin is still money.

And digital money .... Well that isn't money. It's points in a giant online video game.

isn't Russia buying massive amounts of gold? When dollar doesn't worth the paper it's printed on, gold standard ruble would rule the day. Oh, the irony.
