I'm a newer member to the Ayer GSC and attended the open to the public trap shoot yesterday afternoon. Barry ran a great event. Had about 25 shooters show up and had full squads run straight out from 1-4pm. It was a great time......plans are to run them about once a month for now according to Barry and I'll definately be back. My son hit 6/25 and I was thrilled and so was he. I failed to break into the 20s with a score of 19 on both of my rounds.....better luck next time I guess. A couple of good shooters attended.....a couple of guys hit 22/25. I'm still chasing that perfect score! Hopefully by the end of the summer!

I know I know......I'm a new member and have heard things have been slow there in the past. Barry is doing a great job IMO with gettnig some interest in some shooting events. It is great trap range just begging to be used more! I had a blast and the gun racks were overflowing!
