Been looking at a super redhawk 454 but can not justify 900 dollars for a "toy". Stopped in Lewis Arms in Bow NH and they had the taurus tracker 44 on sale for half as much as the ruger. Yes I know it is not the same quality as the redhawk but it goes bang. My dear wife said happy birthday go get it, no I do not think begging had anything to do with it to get me out of the house.
Been years since I have shot a 44 so it was great, recoil is not bad and nothing blew up. I like having at least 2000 rds for each of my firearms so this is going to be expensive.
