Help with S&W model 32

I have a S&W model 32 revolver with a 2 inch barrel. I would like a longer barrel. Can anyone tell me if any J-Frame barrel will fit my model 32. Also is anyone aware of a J-frame with a 5 inch barrel.

Model 32's were I believe made on the I frame and later the J Frame. Caliber is .38 S&W and not to be confused with the .38 Special. Barrels between these two calibers are not interchangeable.

Are you sure you want to put money into converting a .38 S&W gun? They aren't very valuable for the most part, and you can find plenty of guns with barrel length you want, in many calibers. I'm sure you could get a barrel and have it installed, but why bother. The money you'd put into it would be the same as buying another gun almost. There are 5" J Frames' like the model 60 and others. Look at the S&W site.
