Thank you everyone for coming out, being utterly well behaved and I HOPE had fun. Seriously - if you fill for any reason you didn't get your monies worth, tell us. I'm not saying I can give you your money back (because I can't) but we'll find a way to make it right.

THANK YOU TO THE CLUB. A lot of the Board of Directors came to help out. The club president voulenteered to cook when our regular KItchen Queen (Mary) had to go to work and actually pay bills.

Thank you to the VOLUNTEERS to helped out. Especially to a NES member who's name escapes me but he and is lovely girlfriend Pam straight up asked to come help, showed up and didn't complain a whit when we rode them like rented mules. THANK YOU. (Please drop me a PM so I can add your names to this post). EVERYONE WHO HELPED TODAY WAS A VOLUNTEER. Some were club members, some just did it because they are awesome and wanted to help Joe and I. Dan the RO and his girlfriend who sent everyone off for the second heats for example. They just same and helped because Joe asked them to.

THANK YOU to ACME ARMAMENT (Adam and Nicole). Adam had an "incident" the other day and couldn't come. He and Nicole OFFERED UP, FOR FREE, several loaner shotguns. When they told us they couldn't make it they arranged for the guns to show up (thank you Peter). Check out Acme in Londonderry when they open. On top of all this.. they LEGITIMATELY won the Karma, and when they won instead of taking their money back as they were entitled to do, they asked us to donate it. Adam and Nicole are truly supporters.

A couple complaints:

1) Some dumbasses used AP rounds and destroyed one of the 100y targets. I am confident it was an accident... but it happened. So yeah... Joe and I are on the hook for this. Just saying.
2) There was a serious safety violation. That person was willing to step up and admit what happened. The ROs chose to allow the team to continue running despite the incident. It was absolutely an accident.. but.. my point is not to make this person feel worse, but to help remind everyone please be careful. No one got hurt, but it could have been bad.

Enough whining.. here are the results for the money round. Several teams had to bail or were otherwise unable to run a second time.

Winners: Bacon and Eggs. 15 minutes. Shoot me a PM, we have some prizes for you. These guys were studs and even used he sled as I intended. It was awesome to see. There will be some video eventually.

Second: Spray and pray. Marked as 16 minutes, but they were only a few, maybe 20 seconds behind. These guys had a laser beam first run and a couple problems on the second. Mike, one of the teammates, made a 3rd run too. These two goons also won the first HD. They are getting handicapped next time.

3rd (tie): Low Speed High Drag and Tiger Blood. 17 minutes

4th: Sshh be very qwiet 18 minutes.

5th (tie): Time 2A! and John and Ringo. 19 minutes.

6th: One Hit Wonder. 20 minutes

7th: Dominican DY-NO-MITE. 24 minutes

8th: Team Power Bottom (it's a tough call as to who was the.. uuhh.. woman). 25 min

9th: MURICA! 28 minutes. Since team MURICA can only ever actually come in first, we'll assume they placed here to help others feel good about themselves. Thank you guys for that.

10th: Team Squiggly. 31 minutes More importantly they did not get lost at any point during the race. 1 of 2 father son teams.
Tied with Short Bus Ninjas

11th: Wildly Inaccurate. 32 min. Hey.. they could have been worse!

12th: Entropy. 33 minutes. Last, but not least.

I'll post up the results from the first run when I have a moment.

LAST THING.

Have any comments? Complaints? Suggestions. PM or post up. We ran shotguns this time because people wanted Shotguns. We ran trap because people asked for trap. We upped the round count because people wanted more trigger time. What do you want? What do you want that doesn't include me talking less? We are aware we f*up a couple things, had some target failures and some stacking of teams issues.. sorry, really. In our defense, it's a shit ton of work and doing it in the snow made it more difficult to a degree that wasn't expected. Hopefully everyone feels they got their monies worth. If you don't think you did, now is a good time to speak up.

I really don't think you could have done a better job, there are just too many moving parts. The team stacking issues on round one were fixed by round two. The only minor suggestion I would have is that at the start, the teams line up outside the main building, we sort of all just ran for the door at the same time. I had an excellent time and will definitely do it again.

I had fun and was a good learning experience, sure glad I started working out 6 months ago. I thought it was run well, you took suggestions and made changes very well.

Deffinetly worth every Penny..great balance between trigger time and challenges with some good people, good food and guns who could possibly leave unhappy..great job guys!! (And girls)

Awesome time. Despite Morgan's subliminal mind plant, I did not punch him because of the sleds. Ha.

No complaints, the day was full of fun. I do have a few ideas to toss out for next time, but will save them from when I have a real keyboard in front of me.

Thanks for the hard work guys! Great job!

I think you should anyway. Admit it, he was taunting you [smile]

As far as who was the woman on Team Power Bottom on round #2, I wasn't the one proclaiming my love for Liz Warren, so.............

or as she shall now be known... lezzie warren. [rofl]

i can't wait/am scared to see the video

i also never want to work with moving and editing pictures on facebook or photobucket all day. i am dying to share all these pictures of stupidity/badassery but i literally have been doing this (on and off) all day. jeez. i know there are more photos floating around out there, too! at least one more set from someone over at the club.

Are you kidding me? The hardest part was walking out to place the buckets, everything else was *EASY*, even taking some lead in the nose from joe's pistol shooting!

Our second to last place team. Sadly the actual last place team had to be DQ'd.

You need to save it somewhere, like photobucket or facebook or something and the post it here.
Like so.

Enjoy that trophy guys!

Thank you to all that made this happen! awesome day!

My fav. part was the shotgun. This was my first real comp with it and i loved being able to carry ammo then after running get up to the line load and shoot.

My only suggestion for next time is same as this but longer...maybe double stages.

Having that huge target for the slugs was cool, because it wasn't a pressure cooker or something to really get stressed about, but fun. And I think we can all agree that while there is an element of competition, if its not fun no one would really show up.

So thanks for keeping it fun! It was also great to have some new like minded people to share a day with.

HELL NAW I WANT IT NOW. false starts, being dragged along the ground, warren-love, my GOD DAMN RIFLE JAMMING?!
