I have a sponsor for Horse Pond, but I am looking for positives/negatives of the club before applying. Anyone here a member? Is there a long wait to get in right now? Any info/advice appreciated.

I've driven by it once or twice, I've never met anyone who shoots there. I'm at Horseshoe Fish and Game, and we have an idiotic membership cap. I know people at Pointer, on the Merrimack/Bedford line. If Horseshoe gets more FUDDish, I'll be switching.

Ask Steve or Tim at Merrimack Firearms if they know anyone who can sponsor you.

My friend (who I have known for eons it seems, or since 1986) is good friends with the guys at Merrimack as well. He is a certified instructor, but I don't believe he is an instructor at the club. I'll give him a call tomorrow and follow up on that.

Just wanted to see if there were any members on here that had a different point of view, that's all.

I have an interview at Horse Pond tonight. I've kind of shuffled my feet/been busy with school and now I have a lull between classes where I can actually be involved.
