How Tough Is A Mercedes - gun related - sorta

Shouldn't need to save much... Since they are talking about a 16 year old Benz that only cost around 695 quid or for us in america, $1390.

Mercedes makes armored, aka Guard editions, of their highend S class sedans. They used to have them as an option on the mbusa website. I think it added $75K to the cost of an already expensive car but they were pretty well armored.

That's all i could come up with but there used to be videos on the mb website of their engineers going to town with 7.62mm on it.

Oh I just found this...cheesy music but they take some shots at one

I think that I was watching her more than I was watching the car...

But my dad had has a lot of those older Mercs when I was a kid. Well, they wern't old then.. but I remember them feeling solid when I was a kid...

Who knew.

I'd like to see what happens when they do that to a Volvo. The old commercials would have them dropping them off a building and then driving it away or something.

Are you sure? I could have sworn that Volvo used to show how safe their cars were by driving them off the top of their plant or something.

Saab used to have a TV commercial where a strapped in driver was seen reading a magazine while he was being violently bounced around. The scene then cut to another camers showing a Saab tumbling down a hill. When the Saab reaches the bottom, 4 guys run over to it, and push it up on it's wheels. The driver then is seen puting his magazine down, starting the car, and driving off.
