"Thieves using Hurricane Matthew as cover plundered a South Carolina gun shop and made off with 229 weapons worth at least $200,000.

And now, the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is offering a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to the recovery of the arsenal — and that is being matched by the National Shooting Sports Foundation, the trade association for the firearms industry."

Don't want to be racist hear but in a few videos the perp's where not white.[thinking] Just sayin. Of course leaving your shit in an unlocked vehicle, you get what you deserve.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that there was no background checks performed on any of these.

Being a little judgemental there, aren't we?

These were merely undocumented firearms acquisitions.

[rolleyes]

And this is why at least 1 adult stay behind to protect the family home and contents. From the rooftops if necessary... Korean-style.

Does anyone else get a good feeling seeing those Roof Koreans? An absolutely no-nonsense approach to protecting your stuff.

Some of my cousins did that AncestryDNA thing with my aunt and uncle and it turns out I'm 6½% east asian, maybe I'll patch up and hire myself out next time there is some civil unrest locally. [laugh]

My sister had one of these done but I wonder how do you really know that what you're getting is yours and how accurate it is.

No need to hire real Koreans as we have precedence of local groups disguising their ethnicity in defense of their rights and property. [smile]

Hey man, quit trying to crap all over my dreams of being a roof Korean.

This is my chance to distance myself from my white privilege and being the oppressor of everything/everyone who isn't male and white in the world and I'm gonna jump at it. [rofl2]

No need to worry. Remember in the world of liberals you can self-identify as anything you want.[wink][smile]

I remember the roof Koreans. They did more for gun rights than any political party ever did.

It wasn't just run-of-the-mill handguns they took," Daniel Huneycutt, owner of Five Star Gun in Longs told NBC News on Friday. "There were some engraved guns, a lot of nice collector guns. They took a gold-plated German Luger."

You would think the crooks would avoid the flashy, engraved, embellished and easily identifiable guns, and just grab the plain vanilla nondescript stuff which can be more easily sold on the streets. Even if you deface the serial numbers, the collector grade stuff still would be much easier to trace back to the store burglary.

I'm surprised I haven't heard any stories of pharmacies being ransacked for the drugs like what happened in NY and NJ during Hurricane Sandy.
