Paging @DW357Are they still hot garbage? Someone on tge board has/had one and it went back for damage issues. I forget who has it.
A friend of a friend of mine owned one of these, and I got to spend some range time with it and shoot it a bit. All I can say is "meh." And this was one of the original guns, not from the later production that was made more recently.
I get the uniqueness, and how collectible they are, but as a practical matter, the I found the design was not not quite there.
Any good quality 10mm is just a better, and more satisfactory, pistol in every way. If anyone wants a Coonan because it is just cool, there is nothing wrong with that. But we should be realistic about what it is.

This.....I fired one and wasn't super impressed. I get the boomer/Gen X nostalgia, but its just that.
