Look what I got----

From Mrs. Mary Konate and Son Johnson
Dearest in christ Jesus,

My name is Mrs Mary Konate a nationality of Kuwait. I am married to late Mr. JAMES KONATE who worked with Kuwait embassy in Ivory Coast for nine years before he died in the year Octorber 2003. We were married for twenty years with a child. He died after a the illness that lasted for four days.

Before his death we were both born again Christians. When my late husband was alive we deposited the sum of (Ten Million U.S.Dollars) with one of good banks here in Cote d'Ivoire Presently, this money is still with the bank. Recently my Doctor told me that I would not last for the next three months due to my cancer problem,Though what disturbs me most is my stroke. Having known my condition I decided to donate this fund to church or better still a Christian individual that will utilize this money the way I am going to instruct here in.I want a person or church that will use this fund to churches, orphanages, research centres and widows propagating the word of God and to ensure that the house of God is maintained.

The Bible made us to understand that blessed is the hand that giveth. I took this decision because I have a child that will inherit this money but my son can not carryout this work only because i and my late husband decide to use some of the money to work for God and live some for our son to have a better live.our son is just 17yearold now and been grow up in africa, he have low manterity and my husband's relatives are not Christians and I don't want my family hard earned money to be misused by unbelievers,I don't want a situation where this money will be used in an ungodly manner.Hence the reason for taking this bold decision. I am not afraid of death hence I know that I am going to be in the bosom of the Lord. Exodus 14 VS 14 says that the lord will fight my case and I shall hold my peace.

I will like you to understand that my contact to you is a divine direction from God , I don't want any of my husband family relatives to recieve this money but I know that With God all things are possible. As soon as I receive your reply I shall give you the contact of the Finance/bank. I will also issue you a letter of authority that will empower you as the new beneficiary of this fund. I want you and the church to always pray for me because the lord is my shepherd. My happiness is that I live a life of a worthy Christian.Whoever that wants to serve the Lord must serve him in spirit and truth,Please always be prayerful all through your life. Any delay in your reply will give me room in sourcing for a church or Christian individual for this same purpose. Please assure me that you will act accordingly as I stated here and Please I will like you to contact me Immediately you receive this mail so that I will instruct the Bank to transfer this fund into your account for me and my Son to start coming over there because since two days now we are having a very big problem in Abidjan here the REBELS Went into the military camp and killed so many military so we need this transaction very urgent.

Remain blessed in the name of the Lord.

So I called and sent my checking account number, so she can deposit the 10 million in my account! Poor girl-[rofl]

Unreal, I wonder how many people fall for these things? We had a similar encounter when we were selling a couple of puppies. Someone responded and wanted us to open an account for them, so they could buy the puppy. Yah, i ran right to the bank on that one[thinking]

Some guys have all the luck. I keep buying those mega millions tickets and
can't get one crummy hit. All you do is open your mail and you're a millionaire.
Where's the justice? I just hope that you continue God's work with all this
money. [smile]

The best way to deal with these individuals is to scam them back. Lead them on a long chase. Tell them you want to help them. That you've set up an account and ready for them to transfer the money.

If everyone did this they would spin their wheels going to their bank trying to pull your funds out(except the account isn't even real)

Ever get the one in the mail that looks like a check from a car dealer? Some day, I want to go test drive a Corvette, and then tell him I want to buy it. I'll fill out everything, but sign nothing, and then say "Here is my down payment." then hand him the check and walk out.

Stay away! This is a total scam. I fell for it last year. I got the first payment of $2 Million, and then NOTHING. They stiffed me for the last $8Million. It's a ripoff. Be warned!

I'm still waiting for Monsieur Laurent Kabila and his representative Mr Mbongo to send back the 5,000 South Vietnamese piastres bill I sent them- they were gonna send it back to me, with interest!

If you want to hear something mildly amusing, here is a phone call of me in a made-up voice talking to one of these scammers ("Barrister Mendy") and making him apologize for stuff, even though I'd already sent him to western union life 4 times with bogus control numbers. I made him call me at a very inconvenient time for him, sometime in the middle of the night! [grin]

Never do this stuff with any of your real information, by the way. [smile]

They aint as Smart as de tink de is

I get about 100 of these SCAM E mails a day. Every now and then when Im board Imm reply to them and ask that they send me some "Seed Money" I only ask for a small amount; maybe 1 % of the millions that they promise. Just enough to get started.

Tell them that you will invest it in American Real Estate like this.

I prefer Cash or Krugerands dropped in a non conspicuous manor at discreat coordinates in remote arduous locations but will accept a US Postal money order send to my P.O Box.

One of these jerks acutally went to the US Post Office and sent me a Money Order. HA!

DONT Bring it to your bank: Cash it in at the Post Office in exchange for Stamps.

REMEMBER: If the Women dont find ya handsome; At least they will find ya Handy.

Checks in the Mail

I also had one of them send me a Certified Bank Check for $6,750. from a non existant bank.

Looks so Real you can taste it.

The idea is to get someone to deposit it into their Bank account and then when it bounces you get stuck with the fees and loose your money.

WATCH OUT! Do not deposit these checks!
Even the one from the IRS for $17.30 that they send you because they made an accounting error. WOW does that one look real. It comes from IRAN. Not the best bank to deal with.

However: If you get these idiots to purchace a US Postal Money order from the Post Office (And they will; with intent on obtaining your bank account numbers when you deposit it)

They are in fact sending you Real honest to in God we Trust, MONEY! Just cash it in at the Post Office in exchange for Stamps. We all can use Stamps?

Just dont give them your Personal name or address or any bank information.

What can you really expct from a country that plays hockey without ice or sticks. [rofl]

Will the Nigerian scammer pick up the US Postal Money order from a US post office while they are in the USA delivering the millions to the other lucky recipients, or has the USPO opened a branch office in Lagos?
