Interesting Nerdy Pictures and Videos Thread

I stumbled on this the other day. It's a really good illustration of how the three CW keyer modes work. He shows the letters being formed and when he presses/squeezes the levers. I never considered Ultimatic, but it does look easier/more efficient than the Iambic modes. I'm not relearning now, but neat to see it.

ran into these brain teasers on youtube that supposedly are geared toward 9th grade SAT test takers. Some are trivial, some can be solved with pen and paper, but SOME are real head scratchers if you do not know the trick or forgotten on of a hundered algebra equations. i find them fascinating.

I like these puzzles, but this lady, while attractive, uses about 20x as many words as she needs to use.

There's a guy Presh Talwalker or something like that who has more puzzles. I usually can't solve them.

I always give my crimps an uncalibrated pull test, but I never did know which way was correct. I wish he also covered the ratcheting ones. Or maybe those don't matter.

I used to solder after crimping, but from what I understand it at best doesn't make a difference, and at worst makes the connection more brittle.
