the new 10 round mags ship with a spring that is one coil longer than the original 10 round mags. even with modifying the follower it'll still be a bitch.

oh wow Talk about a new guy post 
So I came home and with some snap caps and working the action a little bit, my slide stop drops with a single thumb. Easy breezy.... I'm embarassed... It literally took maybe just 20 - 30 times and it just started to get worked well. It's easier with a round in the magazine than without...
still hard to get the 10th round in though.

M&P 40c was my first gun and the slide release was tough, but after about 100 rounds thru it the release is nice and easy. Just picked it up from getting the trigger done, can't wait to go try it out!
