It's been a busy (green) week...

So let's see...

• Took the (live fire) Basic Pistol class last Saturday with the wife...
• Went green here...
• Became a GOAL member...
• Signed up for the GOAL 'Art of the Concealed Carry' class in April.
• Heading over to a range to try a few rentals tomorrow...
• LTC application interview on Monday (green town)...

... and then we wait.


In the near-term, I'm thinking about a Glock 19 or Sig P229 as my first CCW/defence weapon. I'll definitely pick up a Ruger MKIII or 22/45 for the range. I will also most likely pick up a Remington 870 in some form for defence and skeet/trap (most likely get 18" and 28" barrels and swap them out as needed).

That said, my future 'wish-list' is getting alarmingly long...

That's mostly my list... except the Ruger which I'm sure we'll both shoot.

My wife will probably get a handgun of her own (whatever she wants) as well.

Application is in... LTC-A, ALP without even asking.

The licensing clerk said that the wait was around 8 weeks now so I'm looking at the end of March (but hopefully sooner).

Once it comes in, I will send in my ME and NH non-res applications (and go shopping!).
