J & G French .50 BMG Ammo

Has anyone used the French .50 cal ammo that J & G is selling? I have always had great luck w/ them - but $2.49/rnd is cheap and makes me wonder...Midways is selling (presumably) the same stuff for $3.49 (but w/ free shipping).
