Correct, many US Jews sympathize with the Palestinian terrorists and blame Israel for the troubles and violence. They hated Bibi and his government because they built on disputed land and didn't compromise with the PLO/Hamas/Fatah. I used to bust GF's niece's husband's balls and ask him why he never visited Israel, they could care less.

Historically, Jews didn't have a lot of choices. Republicans, Democrats: everyone was anti-semitic. That said, couple of points:
- Anti-Defamation League was created by Jews to anti-semitism in the US. Later, it fought for the rights of all Americans.
Famously, ADL defended the neo-Nazi march in Skokie, IL on the basis of the fact that the 1st Amendment, freedom of speech, and assembly are applicable to ALL Americans, even the disgusting ones. Today, ADL is a former shadow of itself after being taken over by the Obama administration operative and used for anything BUT fighting for our rights. - Jewish values are conservative values. Tanakh and Talmud are the basis of the modern-day Judeo-Christian view of the world. Conservatism in the US is driven by a desire to "conserve" or remember and pass down that wisdom.
Many? How many? 1-2% if at all!? Also, many hate Bibi because he was friends with Trump and as a brainwashed CNN peon, you're supposed to hate anything Trump'y...

the reason is that everyone serves, and gets proper amount of respect and discipline. anyone in israel always had ability to get a license, but majority never even wanted, as first of all, there WAS NO NEED to spend your own money on something you get to use for free at your regular training sessions military pulls you into.
the war that happens now just pushed people into extreme where guns usually available at the base now considered to be stored where you live and sleep.
prevention of accidents is never the oppression and forbidden fruits - it is training and knowledge, and, again, military discipline. make up a nation of warriors - and accidental shootings will diminish to none. keep breeding up street scum - and violence will never stop.

OP .. in my Jewish neighborhood, everyone's playing ostrich, burying their collective heads in the sand. See Congressman Brad Schneider, IL State Senator Julie Morrison, IL State Rep Bob Morgan, Gov. JB "Fat Boi Toilet-yanker" Pritzker, others for reference. See the entire left-leaning Jewish "intelligencia" living in the greater Chicago region. I only know two other Jews who own guns and actively practice, and one was a convert when Covid kicked into high gear ... my tribe hasn't learned "bull squirt" in the last 200 years.
