No for me at that price. Nice bearings and other features but made in China by Rike and blade is 'premium steel'. I have a Rike beater that is decent and actually ID's the blade alloy (S30 or similar) but it was way cheaper.

Agreed. Never except material labeled "premium steel". All metals have technical names. If they don't disclose it then it is probably crap.
