Legal 22Mag Revolvers in Mass?

Hi all, my lady friend wants to buy a new 22Mag revolver. We live in Mass, and you all know how that cuts down on what you can legally buy. I would like to put together a list for her of the "legal in Mass" 22Mag revolvers, and look to you all for help. Thanks

They are all legal to buy! It is Ilegal for dealers to sell some of them. It's on the dealer. Call around to some shops

And this. What's the purpose of the gun? If you're just looking for a range toy you could look at the Ruger Single Six convertible (comes with 22lr & 22mag cylinders), since you didn't say single action wasn't ok.

As far as I know, the only two you can buy from a dealer in MA are the S&W 351PD and the Ruger Single-Six. We have two of the S&W and really like them, loud as hell and easy to control. The Ruger is a single action revolver (where the S&W is double action).

I love the 22 magnum cartridge and would love to find a Taurus or Charter Arms in MA. These have to be done FTF, since a delaer isn't allowed to transfer them.

Smith and Wesson makes a very nice medium frame blued revolver the Model 48 in both 4" and 6" barrel lengths.
You could check to see if it is available to us behind the iron curtain.

You can legally buy anything you want, just about, in terms of revolvers.

What a dealer can sell to you without them getting in trouble for it, is another story.

There is a difference.

Thanks to all of you who replied to my post. As usual with the ladies, she has changed her mind again - she is now going to start her gun career with a 22LR revolver and has many options there.
