Ok,

I stumbled across a Les Baer Thunder Ranch 1911 for sale. It was manufactured in 1/2001 and it is blued. It comes with the original box, and two factory mags.

It shows a fair amount of holster wear, but does not appear to have been shot much.

Can anyone give me a general idea of value? I don't want to over pay.

Has anyone shot a thunder ranch, and can give a an opinion about the gun?

Can't hep as to the value but as far as opinion...a shooter up here I know takes his firearms quite seriously. Definitely one that goes for quality WAY before quantity. I recall him telling me a few years ago he'd gotten a LB 1911 - the Monolith I believe, and that he'd never buy another 1911 except for a LB. To me that spoke volumes about the quality.

Yeah, Les Baer definitely has a fantastic reputation about quality. I just didn't know anything specific to the Thunder Ranch, and how much they are worth used. I know new, they are $1999.
