Longest Rifle Range in Bristol County Area?

Looking to join a range and want to focus on long range rifle. Anyone have a suggestion for a nicely equipt and long rifle range?

Years ago it used to be a 1000 yard range, IIRC. Then people started moving into the area and there were some claims that their backyards were "impact zones." That was the first range I ever fired at, many, many years ago. When I first started going there with my Dad there was exactly one house at the very beginning of Woodcock Road; nothing like what it is now.

It's still one of my favorite places to shoot. I wish they'd put some kind of cover on the firing line on the pistol ranges. If you can deal with the weather it's a good place to shoot.

I am a member there.. You just have to show up when they are open, and sign up.. 60.00 for non residents, and 40 if you are a res of new bedford, or dartmouth.

Ames rifle and pistol in easton has a 300 yard range. I think that's bristol county.

Woodcock Rd. range: RO is Jeff Whittaker; he's a stand-up guy. Just don't shoot the deer and turkeys grazing down range
