Ive heard of two pump shotguns that use a box magazine instead of a tube mag...The Valtor PM5 and the Dominion Arms Grizzly.
Anyone had any experience with these or know of their reliability, build quality etc?
Looking to get one of them.

There's the Saiga semi-auto that takes magazines. In MA there may be some limit like 5 round mags max (?) before it's an 'assault weapon'

5 Rounds mags, and you can't do a conversion unless you get a thumbhole stock.

There is also the Baikal IZH-81 KM. I have one I may trade. PM if interested.

The AWB and mag bans are two different and separate things.

Even on a pump gun, if the DETACHABLE mag is >5 rds for a shotgun, it must be pre-ban or you face felony charges for a post-ban hi-cap mag. [I emphasized "detachable" as a tube-fed gun . . . the tube can not be a "large capacity feeding device" per EOPS CURRENT interpretation of MGL.]

I have a bolt action box fed shotgun it is an American Eagle. I can't find any info on it, maybe its a savage, store brand. I'll have to do more research.

These will probably answer your question about the American Eagle shotgun.

According to the Blue Book, Noble Mfg Co. was located in Haydenville, MA from 1953-1971.

Thanks Len. Now that I read that I vaguely remember something about Noble. I bought it from My brother in law for $50. He owed someone the money and he was going to take the gun and call it even. I told him I'd give him the $50 for it. He asked what it was worth after and I told him probably $50. I still think it's only worth about that.
