Unfortunately I live in CT... I really want the M&P 9 Core because it is optics ready. I can not get the pistol here in CT because of the 10 rd Mag law. I figured I can call buds gun shop and buy it from them and have them remove the mag and change it with a 10 rd that I buy for it but they won't do it. I also looked at a fnp tac 45 and If that comes, I would have to spend more money to get the threaded portion of the barrel cut off because of the AWB. Now, do you guys know of any other pistols that are optics ready? I thought about just getting a glock 17 and milling it but that is just going to add more money to the price. The reason I like the M&P9 Core most is because it is an all around great pistol, not expensive and is dependable. I found a core from buds gun shop for 550, leaving me to buy my own RMR.

Anyone have any ideas to getting an optics ready pistol? I plan on using it for competition, and just recreational target shooting.
