Sorry if this is a dup i looked but didnt find anything. Im looking for some one or some place to get my crappy trigger done. Im from New Bedford area and went to a local, shop to see if the they can do it but they said it was illegal for them but they do sell the apex trigger kit. So is it hard to instal or maybe some one local can do the install? Thanks in advance

what do most folks usually get for a new trigger? I know my m&p 45 has a god awful 10 lb trigger pull was thinking around 5 would be nice and smooth.

I'm new to this community and to guns in general. Got my LTC 3 weeks ago and bought a M&P40 the next day. I've put 600 rounds through it so far. I bought the Apex kit. I watched the apex tutorials and few other vids on youtube and did the job myself. Took me about and hour because I kept stopping the video and re watching certain parts so I wouldn't screw up.
Hope this helps

Only place to take it in my opinion if you want a great job done, is business end customs. Lou did mine and its amazing now

BEC has my shield now; can't wait to get it back. He did my M&P9c and the trigger is about 6lbs and it's fantastic. Great work, fair price; cant ask for anything else...

Just got my shield and have a PM into Lou, what was your experience on turn around?
Thanks.

I dropped my shield at BEC on 3/14; dont have it back yet, but my M&P9c was done in 5 days a wile back.
I'm guessing it's based on BEC's workload, but he'll give you a timeframe when you deal with him...

Apex kits in all my M&P's easy to do. DCAEK Kit and about 30 minutes should do it. The Shield kit takes a little less time.

Get the Apex DCAEK kit and the Trigger as well. You won't be sorry and it's very, very easy to do the install.

Hit the range tonight with my M&P 9c and M&P 9 shield.

9c has a APEX DAECK (~5lbs)
9shield is stock. (~10.5lbs)

I am by no means a good shot, but with the heavy pull on the shield I was all over the place. I assuming the shorter barrel has little effect.

Shield on the left. 9c on the right.

Going to try the APEX kit. Fingers crossed for the rear sight.
