M&P sheild trigger work?

Going to try the APEX kit. Fingers crossed for the rear sight.
Get yourself a solid vise. Makes a world of difference. My sight pusher wouldn't budge it. My brash punch got beat up. Ended up using a large screw driver, which scratch the rear sight a little(who cares, i'll put night sights soon enough), but worked.

Not to hijack the OPs thread but - I just finished installing 1/2 of the Apex Shield carry kit. I only installed the new springs + sear (did not install the USB yet), and it already is a night and day difference. Just as good as the m&p9c apex kit. Would certainly recommend it. I also used the new apex armorers block. Made tapping out those few pins much easier.

Wow I just got done doing the same thing and I purchased the block also. Night and day difference in the trigger and like you said the block made the pin removal and installation of the pins easy. I'll be doing the second half on the slide tomorrow after looking for a sight pusher. If anyone needs to borrow my block, vise and the punches needed let me know.

When I did mine last weekend on my MP .40c, I removed the sight allen bolt and the tool that came with the kit was all I needed to push the sight out, just some light taps with the hammer.

I have heard others saying how theirs was a bitch to get off though.

I know it's a bit of a drive and nit sure if anyone else mentioned. Mike Larocca. A+++++++++++++

LaRocca Gun Works of Worcester, MA - Gunsmith

Sorry I will never recommend him ever again...

I went to see him when I was in Worcester for something else awhile back, I called him a month or so latter and told him I wanted to bring him my guns, he started yelling at me on the phone saying he would never work on another Mass M&P... After a few choice words from him (I'm putting that nicely) I just hung up on him...

I'm sorry, when a Gun Smith starts yelling at you and saying four letter words to you I will never use him...

I will travel the 5 hours or so to Greg Derr before I ever travel the hour run to Worcester...
