M&ps with thumb safetys

Im on the north shore. Has anyone seen shops selling m&ps with thumb safetys?

Either 9 or 40 is fine. Im only using the grip frame and selling the slide assembly.

My current m&p i chopped the grip to mid size so it was more concealable. I recently picked up an m&p shield for carry. Now that my m&p 9 will only be for range and HD use id prefer a larger grip.

You won't find a new M&P with a safety in a shop in MA, none are on "the list". The ones I've seen are for sale on these forums.

Strange in any other state but MA. Remember that here the manufacturers have to submitt, I believe 10, of the firearms they want approved to the "authorities" for testing. Those firearms do not go back to the manufacturer, they're gone......
That's 10 of each model: safety, no safety, 9mm, 40 S&W, black, flat dark earth.........etc. So the manufacturers submit what they think would appeal to most MA buyers. That's why we almost only see basic black guns in MA.

M&Ps have a good trigger safety and a striker safety. However, if you're dead set on having the actual flip up safeties:

Sear Housing Block Assembly, Manual Safety, Stripped [2084] - $9.00 : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties
M&P Manual Safety Lever [1960] - $8.00 : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

$20 to your door. Just buy a regular gun and pop those in place.
