MA 9MM/45 home defense pistol suggestions

Ruger P-series have 10,15, 17 or 18, and 30 round pre-ban magazines available. I think it was either stupidity or a gross oversight they didn't use the same magazines in the newer guns.

S&W M&P45 with rail mounted light. It has everything I want in a home defense pistol.
-10 rounds of 45
-Reliable
-Comfortable
-Good trigger*
-Accurate(not quite as accurate as 1911s, but still really good)
-Easy light mounting(light source being necessary for home defense)

*With an Apex DCAEK trigger. It's very easy to put in with basic tools and a punch set. The non-MA trigger isn't horrible, but far from praise worthy. In MA, the Apex trigger is almost mandatory.

this is where I am too at a loss. I would love a s&w governor can load in .45 acp, .45 long colt, and .410 shot gun shells. comes standard with a tritium night sight and optional laser. No that is what I call a bedside gun!

however I would also like to know that I have my 15 rounds ready to go at my finger tips with my glock 19 or could even break out the 33 round mag.

Its a tough call. 15 rounds or 6 rounds, both have there pros and cons, but both are still very effective.
