Executions are performed at the state prison in Huntsville and on days when an execution is scheduled there's a state law prohibiting carrying within 1,000 feet of a place of execution.

Unless TX also has a 1000' law, no municipal or state police officer can enforce the federal law. And I can't imagine any AUSA prosecuting someone federally for this, it would take too many resources for a mickey-mouse violation.
