I've been doing some research on parts for a sub-10" barrel build. Was just about set on an Aero Precision 7.5" build when I came across Maxim Defense, specifically their 5.5" barreled upper and SCW micro stock solution. It's quite clever how they're able to reduce the collapsed length of stock with a smaller buffer tube, and proprietary bcg that the buffer slots into. The overall length of this SBR is 18.75".
Anyhow, after a few beers I just started ordering shit and I guess I'll be building something similar to this very soon.
