Mitchell H/S citation 2, firing pin?

everywhere i read, that this pistol is the same as a regular h/s only in stainless. i broke a firing pin, and am trying to see if the h/s firing pin will work in my Mitchell? i called h/s and they said no, none of there parts are interchangeable, but i got the sense that they didnt want to help because its a Mitchell. anyone ever replaced a firing pin, or other parts in one? thanks
