Model 629 .44 Magnum® Hunter

Any opinions on this? I am looking into getting a 44 for hunting. Is this on the Ma roster? If you look it comes with a muzzle brake.

Not much you can hunt in MA with it. Bears, maybe. Muzzle brakes help with recoil a little, but they are painfully loud. As for the MA roster, if it's already owned in MA, no problem regardless of age. If it's brand new with the lock it's OK. If it's an older gun and out of state, you'll have trouble finding an FFL dealer to legally transfer it into MA.

all s&w revolvers are ok in this state. Any 629 is a good gun. It's a matter of personal taste as to what you like/ don't like about any particular model.
