Mossberg 12G 500 Tactical Kit

Hi,

Anybody have any advise on where to find a "tactical kit" (not sure if places sell them) for the Mossberg 500A 12G?

Right now I have a NIB Moss that has the 28" barrell, standard long wood stock and wood pump. Would like to make it a HD shotgun with some type of tactical kit replacing the barrell, stock and pump.

Any advise for this beginner would be welcome.

Midway, Brownell's, etc., should have everything you're looking for, including 18" barrels.

Also, if you don't care about your furniture being tacticool black, Dick's usually has some camo furniture sets for the 500.

Almost cheaper to just buy a base HD model M500. The stock will probably run you 70ish and the barrel another 70ish.

Get yourself one of these stocks also.

The 500 'security' model goes for just inder 300 bucks. 7+1 and it's black so it looks scary. 6-shot side-saddle for 20 bucks or so. You can get a tactical light with a mount for under a hundred bucks.

Do this and you'll get to keep your current setup as well.
