Real nice!

Do you feed'em handloads?

No, only 168gr Federal match, I've saved all my brass for the one day I do set up to handload.

+1
I'm usually a wood and steel man, but I think that M1A is sweet.

Glad you like it, it's not an M1A though. The receiver heel reads "U.S. Rifle 7.62-MM M-14 NM Smith Ent."

I'm sure it sounds picky to some, but M1As are a trademarked product of Springfield Armory Inc. and it's only an M1A if it says so on the heel. Of course, generally speaking, "M1A" has become the blanket term for M14s that cannot be converted to select fire.

I started, oh a decade or so ago, with a used "loaded" M1A. I enjoyed it so much, I started learning all about these rifles.

Hey Arc! Nice to see you here. I'm "operator" from SigForum, though I don't post much there anymore.

Hey there, small world.

Is the Smith one of the forged ones? Mine isn't, but my buddy's is. Me jealous.

I've got three, all of which are rear lugged, one is "Forged" marked.

I want that stock!

Which stock? The Mcmillan M3A? or the tiger striped GI stock?

He was a few that would clean up real nice (although maybe not as spectacular as Arcwelder's).
