My first .22. Ruger 10/22 in camo

Just got it. Put a Bushnell I had laying around on it and am going to zero it today or tomorrow. Out of curiosity, since this didn't come with sling mounts, has anyone just drilled and screwed some in? I'm sure it's pretty easy to do.

FYI, my iPhone camera makes my gun pron pictures look like 1970s back alley porn.

I had to drill and put in studs on both of mine.
Easy to do.

Looks great. With the right ammo, 10/22s are tack-drivers.

I was able to pick up some Winchester M22 (supposedly for the AR .22 variant) and some Federal Auto Match for good prices. We'll see how they do.

Groups like a dream, too bad I forgot to level the mount that came with it. Seems I need to do some filing on that. Also, I was able to get the bolt lock and magazine release to work only after dancing naked around it, spitting rum in the air, and calling on my ancestors.

Common annoyance on these that can easily be fixed with a dremel in 15 minutes.

I drilled and screwed/epoxied a stud into mine for a bipod. Works great. I also did the auto bolt release mod and it works great - would do it in a heartbeat if I were you.

Yw. Just make sure you make that curve deep enough. Took me 2 tries.
