this is my Tanfoglio Limited Custom in .40
So far I have the Henning Hammer and sear,..trigger job out of ONtario,..Henning Firing pin,.Henning grips,..and soon to be Henning front sight.
I use the Henning mag pads and Henning mag so far.
Pretty reliable once you get the mags tuned a bit,...just have to press them in a little at the lips,..and trim the follower so it does not engage the slide lever too early.

here is my Production gun, a Tanfoglio stock2 9mm...DA first shot.

with Bladetech DOH.

here is my new aquisition...hard to get up North. This is the RA XCR in .223,...18.6 inch barrel,...just chucked an Eotech on it and replaced the grip. Gonna get the match trigger kit when it comes out. IT has been 100% reliable, even using Wolf .223,.and on the level 2 gas setting. I plan to use this for 3 gun and Varmint. Need a decent long range optic, and possibly a Miculek or Surefire Comp.

So, how do you get to own pistols and semi-auto high-capacity rifles up there in Canada? I thought they were not legal to own anymore.

That's what I would like to know. After my brother did some research on the laws up there it sounded like you could only own a handful of types of guns mainly bolt action rifles, pump shotguns, and handguns that were "commonly found in Canada" or something like that.

You can own any handgun with a barrel over 4"s.....Handgun mags are limited to 10rds. Rifle mags are limited to 5rds,..BUT with the RRA 10rd AR "pistol"mags,..we can use the 10rders.

Any rifle as long as it is not full auto. AR-15 and variants are classified as Restricted. (need a year long form to take it to your range and matches, same classification as handguns).
Non -restricted is over 18.6 "barrel (as long as it is not an AR -15 variant).. SO my XCR is not an AR variant (you cannot swap top and bottom with an AR-15) and it has an 18.6"barrel,....so it is non-restricted. Non-restricted you can take anywhere without a permit, and use it for hunting. It is more restrictive than Maine, but less than California.

The mags for rifles like the AR are the items that must not hold more than 5rds,....BUT,..the loophole is that some AR-15 pistols use mags that are made for 10rds,....so Pistols mags can hold 10rds,..hence I can use them in my XCR.
It is a stupid rule.....but stupid LIberals wrote the rules,..and did not see the loophole that pistol mags could be .223.

I have a couple of AR-15s.....but would get more use of an XCR or 180b,...or that system rifle with a barrel of 18.6 " or longer. We can not legally hunt with ANY AR-15 rifle.

just going to set up the XCR this week with a Bushnell 3X9 for varmint. I think I can run that without removing the holosight. Just got to get some higher rings to clear the rail (old rings were made for the 10/22...but it will not clear the flat top with out at least another 1/4"

thanks for the compliments,.....I don't own a whole lot at the moment,..but none are safe-queens.
Only thing I am waiting on is possibly a 590 in the spring /summer....and currently waiting on my HK P30-L in 9mm. I cut my teeth on the USP,..so I hope it is everything the HK was but more ergonomic.
