Just wanted to show off my new pistol, mainly because I think its pretty COOL! So yes, I'm doing one of those stupid posts. Purchased last Fri night from a fellow NES'er through the For Sale ad's (right after I sold my Ruger SR9)
I had decided DAO pistols were not for me and wanted something that I could get preban hicaps for. The Beretta 92fs or a S&W 5906 seem to fit the bill ( the 92fs being my first choice ) But a lack of cash and the fact that I'm REALLY fussy about the condition of the stuff I own ( if its not perfect it bugs the heck out of me! ) Then I came across this...... Two Tone Beretta 92fs ( I like the 2 tone, I'd never seen one before ) NEVER FIRED! still had the tags on it, original plastic box, cardboard box, manual, lock ( you get the picture... ) A NEW gun by all accounts, for a price $20 less than I paid for my SR9 3 months ago!!! ( thanks norm ) so here it is.....

This is a cheesy look at my new toy thread...

But you've bought yourself a nice new toy. Now go have a good time with it and don't shoot your eye out.

Thanks guys........ my 1st impressions after a little range time is that 1. I really, REALLY like that its metal! (doesnt feel like a toy like my ruger did ) 2. I really like traditional DA pistols ( why I talked myself into a plastic DAO pistol I dont know... ) 3. boy, is that slide smooth! and 4. its really cool to not have to reload your magazine after only 10 rounds!

Oh yeah, any body have any opinions on the American VS. Italian made 92fs? mines a American made model. I dont really care, just more of a curiosity......

I really like my 92FS. I used it for IPSC for a number of years. It's a very sweet shooter. Easily my favorite pistol in the arsenal. You have a beauty of a specimen.

If you find the DA pull a bit too much, drop in a Wolff spring; and if the SA pull is a bit to gritty, shoot it more....or take it to a smith for a light trigger job. Shoot and be happy. [smile]
