Here is my latest project.

I shoot a little bit of steel sometimes and some ICORE. I use my 627 8 shot which I really like.

I want to try "Open revolver" in these games but I didn't want to use the 627 so I found another one. Those of you that tried my 627 at the Shirley shoot, this one is even lighter and smoother.

First will be the two together before I did anything, then a few of the new gun in progress showing the bobbed hammer, the Weigand mount, and finally what is the condition as of today with a very low mount and a C-more. Miculek grips are on the way.

Now I just have to learn to shoot it [wink]

With the skinny grip how the hell do you fit a high cap mag in it? haha

Guns look awesome... I miss my 627... seeing this post makes me "need" another one...

You'll have to let me shoot it when it's done!!!

Very nice Gary,

I was thinking of getting 627 to convert to .38 super. But it seemed to be more effort than it was worth.

Have fun shooting those beauties

Very cool, wish I had those skills, I am thinking of a moon clip conversion for my "new to me" model 60 carry gun.

Awesome Gary!

As you know, 627's are my favorites. I went through the same thing you are now. I have one for stock and a V-Comp model that I put a dot on for open. I also was lucky enough to be offered one in 38 super that I snatched up over the winter.

I have been spending so much time shooting my IPSC gun this year I forgot how much fun steel with revos is.

I can wait to see how smooth the new action is on your new one!
